SUSTAINABILITY AND PUBLIC POLICY.
We ensure the sustainability of SBF and its incorporation in public policy.
Our Strategic Goals:

Development
of a methodology for the evaluation of sustainability of solid biofuels, defining specific criteria and indicators for Mexico.

Validation
of the ISO methodology for the SBF Lifecycle.

Enlargement
of viable BCS penetration scenarios in the national thermal and electric energy market, considering the corresponding policies and financial resources for production and harvest of biomass for energy.

Buildout
of indicators and methodologies for the evaluation of SBF public policies and their energy, economic and social impacts.

Technical Leader
Fabio Manzini
“25 million Mexicans cook daily with firewood. The burning of solid biofuels produces toxic gases and the contamination of the air in closed premises for the cooking of food is the cause of death. That is to say, of these 25 million, possibly 38 thousand will die annually“
