The Mexican Forest Resources Congress biannually binds an important group of researchers and students from the country’s forest resources.
On this occasion, Durango had the honor of hosting the XIV Mexican Forest Resources Congress, which was held from November 06 to 09, 2019 at the Durango Cultural and Convention Center. The host institution is the Faculty of Forest Sciences of the Juárez University of the State of Durango.
The SOMEREFO congress is a communication forum for researchers, academic students and managers of forest resources. The objective of the congress is to promote the advances, solutions and problems of the different disciplines through keynote lectures, oral presentations and posters.
The BCS Cluster participated by the hand of Dr. Artemio Carrillo Parra, Technical Leader of the area of ​​innovation in Characterization and Standardization of Solid Biofuels. With his presentation, he gave an overview of the present of our consortium, as well as outlined the challenges that become in the future.
