Meet the SBF Cluster collaboration with Fuego Limpio | Cluster de Biocombustibles Sólidos

Dr. Víctor Berrueta, Coordinator of the Rural Technology Innovation Laboratory (LITR) and Dr. Alberto Beltrán Coordinator of the Design, Simulation and Modeling Laboratory (LDSM) of the Solid Biofuels Cluster, visited last September 27th,  the  Fuego Limpio’s plant,  located in Cuautla, Morelos, where TUYA brand concrete stoves are manufactured.

The visit had the goal of knowing the production process of the stove since as part of the collaboration with the Cluster, a proposal to improve it is being made. Andrea Santos from Fuego Limpio directed the visit and showed the details of the entire process as well as the implications of making changes in the design.

The Laboratories in the area of innovation in low power heat generation for residential applications, LITR, LDSM and LINEB, have jointly developed a modified prototype of the stove that will be evaluated both in the laboratory and in the field in the coming days.
