Yesterday, March 19, through the Research Group on SUSTAINABILITY AND PUBLIC POLICIES OF SOLID BIOFUELS (SPP), belonging to the Cluster of SolidBiofuels (BCS) for the Generation of Electric and Thermal Energy, began the Expert Workshop on current public policies and market development for the BCS of the different chains of production of solid biofuels (Unprocessed: firewood, sawdust, shavings, shells and bagasse, or processed: chips, pellets, briquettes, bales, charcoal and biochar).
This is being carried out in the City of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, and will culminate on Thursday, March 21, 2019. The purpose of the workshop is to discuss public policy actions to strengthen the use of BCS and generate feedback from experts. guests, whose observations will facilitate the generation of public policies appropriate to the national context to evaluate the sustainability of each of the BCS.
Workshops on Methodologies for the Construction of Scenarios and the elaboration of Public Policies on solid biofuels will be held in sectors of production and consumption of energy with the participation of experts in the field such as Dr. Masera, Dr. Manzini, Dr. Riegelhaupt , Dr. Arias, Dr. Lechón, among others.
