On May 30 and 31, the “International Seminar on Denominations of Origin and Sustainable Development” was held in Guadalajara, Jalisco, in the tequila industry. The objective of the seminar was to share with specialists the consequences of climate change. how to raise awareness of the sustainable development of the tequila sector.
The Mexican Bioenergy Network and the BCS Cluster were present during the presentation of Dr. Raúl Tauro with a talk entitled “Pollutant emissions and their economic impact in Mexico.” Biomass as a source of mitigation and adaptation”. We reviewed the possibilities of using biofuel pellets in the sector and the creation of a Web platform that links the supply and demand of biomass in Mexico.
